Reminder for blogging: include poetics in your discussion (at least briefly), noting specific “lessons” or “techniques” derived from the particular reading — addressing our Q. “what to take from this?” To this end, also remember to include in this week’s entry the poetics/categories from Plot Against America that your group identified on Monday — this should reflect the transition from specific instance in the novel to a general category, for composing a “para-doxa Text.” Review Analogy component of CATTt.

Excluded readings; consider for project:

Baldwin: “Going to Meet the Man” (2509-20)
Brooks: 11 poems (2411-20)
Clifton: 11 poems (2801-6)
Erdrich: poems + “Fleur” (3172-84)
